Tight Minds
Life is all about deadlines. We deal with them every minute of our lives that at a point we don't see them as deadlines anymore. While they were once intimidating they have now become a simple due date. And while some may not take them seriously and choose to submit there work a day later or find it easy to miss out on those points.
Deadlines are a part of everyone's life but for journalist and aspiring journalist, they are the way of life. In all of the classes I have been in, I have heard that deadlines are what make or break us. Deadlines have always been intimidating to me they define whether or not I am successful or a failure.
When I submitted my first story I came to realize the importance of class and career deadline but most importantly personal deadlines. As a journalist not only do we have out article deadline but we have to make sure to have photo deadlines, draft deadlines, and interview deadlines. It is important to have these figured out and engrained to make sure that we have the best chance at having an article that we are proud of. That is what I will implement in my story #3, is making sure that these deadlines and respect them as much as I respect those by professors.
